The bank’s task was to provide clients with a solution for booking travel services that allows them to pay using loyalty points from Alfa Travel cards. Cooperation between Cinimex and Alfa-Bank specialists has resulted in a solution that provides for data exchange, points accumulation and payment for tourist services using points.
The project scope has included automation of the following operations: contracts accounting with property and services suppliers; counterparty account management; making interbank, interbranch and domestic payments; accounting of incoming services, materials, inventory, fixed assets, intangible assets, capital investments; accounting of operated property; deferred expenses accounting; fuel products accounting; advance holder account management; accounting of tax charges and remittance; purchase ledger maintenance; sales ledger maintenance. Besides, all data has been transferred to a new system.
At the beginning of 2008, Nordea Bank OJSC had a significantly expanded service portfolio. Business development, new challenges and the introduction of many different IT solutions led to a new stage of IT infrastructure development — a creation of an integration platform and a transition to a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
